29 April 1999: Door and window manufacturer Weru AG of Rudersberg, Germany is to propose a dividend of DM 6 for 1998. The bonus dividend for 1997 was DM 174. The company said that, in the first quarter of 1999, order inflow had been higher than in the previous year“s first quarter. Weru said it had been able to gain market share in a market characterized by considerable over-capacity and price decline. In 1998, turnover fell to DM 375 million (402 million) and pre-tax profits to DM 12.3 million (30.2 million).
