Germany“s Thieme GmbH & Co. KG. announced earlier this year that since Glastec “96 in Dsseldorf last October, the company has won the approval of many of the world“s best glass manufacturers and decorators with its screen printing machine line, Thieme 3000 GS. According to Petra Isele, Export Manager, “We had only a general idea of the magnitude of success that we could enjoy prior to the show last year. Since then our heightened awareness and enthusiasm for this segment of the printing market has showed nothing but continued success for the future.” Klaus Messmer, Thieme“s manager, domestic sales, said: “With the continuous manufacture and assembly of this machine line, we are put in the fortunate position of permanently having a semi, three-quarters, or fully automatic model in our factory to demonstrate to prospective clients and to emphasise the finer points of the equipment. This is the best way to maximise the sensitivity in machine purchase.” Through divisions American Thieme, Batavia, Illinois (US), Thieme S.A. in Illkirch, France and Thieme UK in Huddersfield, UK, as well as through worldwide representation (over 80 representatives), Thieme says it comes second to none for servicing oversees markets. The company emphasised that it will continue to make innovations in the future, and has made the next challenge a new generation of printers in medium and large format designs.
