CRL has appointed Axel Elstermann as technical sales manager in Germany. Elstermann trained as an Adhesive Specialist in Bremen, and headed the product management of UV Bonding and Surface Technology at Bohle during a seven-year period, before joining UV adhesive manufacturer Panacol. A qualified Glassmaster (Glasmiester), Axel has a wide experience of the tools, cutting technologies and hardware for the glass and glazing industry in addition to intimate knowledge of UV Bonding technology, said Gary Dean, director of Sales & Marketing at CRL. The combination of his experience and our dedication to enhancing our range of professional solutions for the industry will prove a beneficial development for our customers in 2011. CRL now operates from four locations in Europe in the areas of Manchester, UK; Stuttgart, Germany; Copenhagen, Denmark; and Milan, Italy, serving the glass processing, glazing, hardware, railings and construction markets. Staff numbers in Europe are now over 70 and continue to grow.
