US, California-based Soladigm Inc., a manufacturer of energy efficient windows, has announced it will set up a manufacturing plant in the Olive Branch Industrial Park, employing more than 300 people. At the new plant, the company will manufacture energy-efficient dynamic insulated glass units with glass that can change from clear to tinted on demand, allowing control over the amount of light and heat that enters a building. The state has provided a USD 40 million loan through the Mississippi Industry Incentive Financing Revolving Fund, as well as USD 4 million in Momentum Mississippi incentives for project improvements at the new facility.
