Sisecam Flat Glass participated in the second Advanced Materials in Construction Summit held in Berlin with its state-of-the-art products, keeping energy efficiency in the forefront. The second Advanced Materials in Construction Summit, organized by Luxatia International and bringing together the industry’s leading, architects, engineers, researchers, featured discussions on the current developments, future trends in advanced construction materials and sustainability.
The leader of the Turkish flat glass market and Europe’s largest producer, Sisecam Flat Glass attended the second Advanced Materials in Construction Summit held by Luxatia International in Berlin. The event bringing together the industry’s leading glass manufacturers, architects, façade engineers and researchers featured discussions on advanced construction materials, sustainability and the future trends and technological developments in the industry.
During the summit, Esra Aydinoglu, Sisecam Flat Glass Coated Glass Product Manager, made a presentation titled ‘Expectations of Architecture from Glass’. The presentation started out with the expectations of architecture from glass with the changing trends, sustainability in glass and a brief about Sisecam Flat Glass along with the entire group of companies. The use of glass in façades and interior decoration of Sisecam Headquarters, Flat Glass Experience Center, the façade solutions of Istanbul’s New Airport were also mentioned.
During the event, architecture and engineering companies Arup and PLP Architecture also shared their projects and interesting glass solutions in their presentations.
