Saverglass works to reduce its footprint throughout the value chain. For the past 15 years, the company has been committed to using 100 percent recyclable organic inks.
In addition to being 100 percent recyclable, these inks do not require high baking temperatures (unlike traditional screen printing) so they also bring down energy consumption.
Saverglass’ Organic Colour Play process replaces screen printing and avoids the use of heavy metals.
By 2024, 90.64 percent (78 percent in 2022) of Saverglass decorations used organic inks.
