17 June 1999: Selas Corporation of America said that it has received an order valued in excess of US$ 15 million to produce the process section for a continuous steel galvanizing line. It will be installed by ILVA at its facility in Taranto, Italy and is the second major steel line order Selas has received in the last month. The ILVA line will produce 450,000 tons per year of galvanized strip steel and is scheduled to be completed by early 2001. Selas S.A., the company“s French subsidiary, will handle production of the Selas portion of the line.
