10 June 1999: US-based Holox Ltd. has entered into an agreement with Knauf Fiber Glass of Shelbyville, Indiana, to provide oxygen for Knauf“s conversion of its Lanett, Alabama, fibreglass plant to oxy-glass firing. Holox and Knauf have selected Orlando, Florida-based Combustion Tec to supply the burners and combustion systems. In addition to the furnace conversion, Holox will construct and operate an air separation unit with a nameplate of 220 tons of oxygen per day. That unit will supply Knauf and provide liquid products to the merchant market.
