The Glass and Glazing Federation (GGF), the UK“s primary trade association for the flat glass, glazing, window, home improvement, plastics and window film industries, is the main sponsor of the 2010 edition of Glassex, to be held 17-20 October 2010, at the Birmingham NEC. The GGF serves as a professional organization for the double-glazing industry as well as a resource centre for customers who want more information on all aspects of the glazing, window, home improvement, conservatory and roofline industries. As sponsors of the registration area, the association will ensure its branding is the first message to be seen by visitors on arrival, whilst branding on the official show carrier bags will increase its visibility to every visitor and guarantee maximum exposure within the exhibition hall. The GGF will also present a daily session during the event as part of the exhibition“s seminar programme. Glassex will provide us with a great platform to meet with existing and potential new members, and share information and advice on key industry issues,““ says Nigel Rees, chief executive of the GGF. We feel it is in our interest to support Glassex, an event that has proven time and time again that it is a must-attend event for anyone connected with the glass and glazing industry. Participating companies include Affordable Windows, Bohle, Interpane, Stuga, Ultraframe, WINDOWparts, and Window Widgets. Once again, Glassex will co-locate in Hall 4 with Interbuild Onsite, the leading event for the building trade. New for 2010 is BEST – Built Environment Solutions & Technologies – the new built environment exhibition, which will be held alongside Glassex in Hall 5.
