6 May 1999: The Japanese company Fuji Glass, a manufacturer of glass products for medical use has reported a latest forecast of 3.47 billion yen for sales compared to the previous forecast of 3.65 billion yen. Last year“s figures were 3.57 billion yen. Fuji Glass predicts it will make a loss of 17 million yen compared with a previous profit forecast of 11 million yen. Last year, profits of 5 million yen were reached. The parent forecast for the same period predicts sales of 3.76 billion yen and a net loss of 11 million yen.
