Diamon-Fusion International, Inc. (DFI), global developer and exclusive supplier of the Diamon-Fusion(R) patented nanotechnology, reached a license agreement and strategic alliance in October 2004 with Venezuela“s Inveca Pittsburgh, C.A., a glass manufacturer of security laminated and tempered glasses for the Architectural and Automotive markets. Inveca Pittsburgh, C.A., a 39-year privately-owned Venezuelan corporation and a technological leader in the Andean Region, is a QS-9000 / ISO-9002 certified company and a licensee of PPG Inc., among other products. Among Inveca Pittsburgh“s customers are General Motors Venezolana, Daimler Chrysler de Venezuela LLC, PPG Industries, MAZDA Colombia (Compaa Colombiana Automotriz), Mack de Venezuela C.A, Fanabus and Encava. DFI“s says its nanotechnology characteristics include: water and oil repellency (hydrophobic and oleophobic), impact and scratch resistance, protection against graffiti, dirt and stains, finger print protection, UV stability, additional electrical insulation, protection against calcium and sodium deposits and increased brilliance and lubricity.
