(DFI Nanotechnology), global developer and exclusive licensor of patented hydrophobic nanotechnologies, announced today that one of its global strategic partners, and long-time European licensee, Cricursa, is the recipient of the highly prestigious Design of the Year Award 2011, the Spanish most sought-after award by Designers and Architects, granted by Spain’s Ministry of Science and Innovation. Spain’s King Juan Carlos will be presenting the Award in an upcoming official ceremony.
Cricursa was founded in 1928 (Barcelona) with the intention of bringing form, material and processing into high technology glass bending, in order to explore the possibilities of bent glass as a decorative element.
