Damu fund supports Pavlodar company StekloMir in creating fully automated production process

General manager of the regional branch of “Damu” Fund, Aigul Alibekova, says LLP “StekloMir” is one of the largest manufacturers of flat glass in the country, as well as making furniture and mirrors and providing glass processing services.

“The glass business is a new trend in the economy of Pavlodar region. Glass processors have already established themselves in both the domestic and foreign markets. One of the largest companies in our country is Pavlodar “StekloMir”. They provide innovative solutions,” said Mr Alibekova.
According to CEO Vladimir Vysotsky, production is fully automated, using modern software, and all of the equipment is robotized. Their latest Business Innovation is that the human factor is eliminated from the manufacturing process. Thus, the automated lines allow for high-precision cutting and shaping. The robots are self-production process. This affects both the quality and speed of production on the product, and allows the company to take on any orders.
“As a result of the mutually beneficial cooperation with Damu Fund we were able to update the fleet of equipment, without using our own funds. As a result of extensive modernization of existing equipment and the purchase of new equipment, our company has become more competitive in the market of the country and in the neighboring countries for the processing of glass and glass production. With the support of the Damu Fund, our company has acquired production facilities in Astana, earlier we had to rent a large area,” said Vladimir Vysotsky.
The company plans to open new and expanding existing branches. This will open new jobs.
“I would like to express my gratitude to the government for such an important program to help businesses. After all, we are not resellers of goods, and produce their own products. For sustainable development requires a “long” money, and relatively low interest rates. So it’s really important, real support for processors,“ he added.
