Atofina Chemicals, Inc. announced 9 September 2004 that it has entered into a letter of intent with Stewart Engineers and Associates for the development and promotion of on-line, turn-key pyrolytic coating technology for flat glass. On-line pyrolytic coating technology is integrated into the glass manufacturing process and can be used to produce a variety of products, including low emissivity glass and self-cleaning glass. “We“re pleased to develop a working relationship with Stewart Engineers,” commented Clem McKown, global commercial development manager for Atofina Chemicals. “We believe that each party brings complementary capabilities to the partnership.
