Asahi India Glass Ltd (Asahi India) has reported a net profit of INR 133.557 million on net turnover of INR 1853.154 million for the 3Q 2006 ended December on a standalone basis, compared to net profit of INR 24.842 million on net turnover of INR 1214.66 million for the 3Q ended December 2005. During the 3Q 2006-2007, the company made revenues of INR 1056.802 million from its automotive glass and INR 746.207 million from float glass segments, compared to revenues of INR 828.291 million from automotive glass and INR 385.404 million from float glass segments in 3Q 2005-2006. The company posted a net profit of INR 331.583 million on a net turnover of INR 5317.254 million for the nine months ended December 2006, compared to net profit of INR 193.139 million on net turnover of INR 4298.28 million in the nine months ended Dec 2005.
