Space is a valuable resource on board a cruise ship. Storing large volumes of empty glass bottles would require significant storage capacity. This is where the Zippe BRV30 Glass Crusher comes into play.
One of these units is currently leaving Zippe’s workshop in Wertheim, Germany, on its way to the shipyard, ready for operation at sea.
The crusher, complete with support frame and enclosure, processes glass bottles directly on board into uniform glass cullet. This significantly reduces storage volume until the material is returned to the glass recycling and production cycle.
- Compact glass waste storage
- Improved onboard logistics
- Sustainable resource management
- 0.5 to 3 tonnes per hour throughput capacity
Powered by a 2.2 kW motor, the machine is fed through a top-mounted hopper and delivers reliable performance in demanding maritime environments.
A practical solution for greater efficiency, optimised logistics and sustainable glass recycling at sea.
