Saint-Gobain appoints Annica Hagen as Chief AI Officer

Annica Hagen has been appointed Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer (CAIO) and member of the Saint-Gobain Group Executive Committee, effective September 1, 2026.

In this newly created role, Annica Hagen will lead the Group’s AI ambitions in support of the strategic objectives of “Lead & Grow.”

She will oversee the structuring, prioritisation and scaling up of existing local AI initiatives across countries and businesses.

This appointment illustrates Saint-Gobain’s ambition to position AI as a strategic enabler to accelerate sustainable growth, enhance innovation, optimise operations and improve value creation for customers, in line with the “Lead & Grow” priorities.

After holding leading positions in both international and Swedish companies, Annica Hagen joined Saint-Gobain in 2023 and has since held leadership roles in Building Distribution in Sweden and later as CEO Distribution for the Nordic and Baltic countries.
