The operation ceremony of PPG“s double silver tempered low-E glass from Zhejiang Zhongli Hold Group took place in the Linjiang Industrial Zone, Xiaoshan, Hangzhou, Zhejiang province, China, in mid-December. Invited guests at the ceremony included Ni Shirong-vice director of the management committee of Xiaoshan Linjiang Industrial Zone; Li Hui-vice secretary-general of the China Building Glass and Industrial Glass Association; Liu Zhifu-director of the National Glass Inspection Center and secretary-general of the National Building Glass Standard Committee; Zhuo Guangrong-president, Zhou Hui-secretary-general of Zhejiang Glass Association; William Kingensmith of PPG Group, high performance glass dept.; Tang Chuanxing-chief of Zhejiang Zhongli Hold Group, along with developers, designer institutes, curtain wall companies and the media. Tang Chuanxing, chief of Zhejiang Zhongli Hold Group, gave the welcome address: In 2009, Zhongli became the only authorized company for PPG offline coating technology. As the production base for PPG energy saving glass, we have introduced PPG offline coating technology and the advanced Leybold low-E coated glass line. PPG technology group has fully attended the whole process. The PPG series low-E glass, which made according to the requirements of PPG technology, has reached leading international standards. Attendees to the ceremony also visited the modern plants of the Zhongli Group, and, in the afternoon, a PPG press conference was held.
