Zak exhibition to showcase new technology in glass, fenestrations and aluminium extrusions

The upcoming edition of the Zak Exhibition, to take place 14 to 16 December 2012, will have on show product innovations and applications in glass; the latest designs and aesthetics in the fenestration industry; highlighting aluminium extrusions usage across a wide range of industries.

Companies from around the world in glass technology, fenestration and aluminium extrusions will come together once again at India’s leading construction solutions exposition in Delhi at the Zak Exhibition. The exposition is scheduled from 14 to 16 December 2012, at Pragati Maidan. The exposition will bring together all stakeholders in building design and construction, including manufacturers and architects, interior designers, builders and developers, raw material and auxiliary products and service providers and other user industries, and provide applications to the innovations in building design, aesthetics and construction. Rising incomes, and demand for enhanced quality of finish and aesthetics is driving innovation in building construction for both commercial and residential use.
The Zak exposition will comprise Zak Glass Technology Expo, the tenth international trade fair on glass and glazing industry production, processing, technology and products to redefine the way we look at glass for construction. This edition is presented by the Federation of Safety Glass, which is India’s premier association on Glass & Glazing. Zak Doors and Windows Expo, the ninth international trade fair for doors, windows, façades, technologies, components and products aims at showing how the Indian fenestration industry is looking at newer innovations and technologies almost everyday. Zak Aluminium Extrusions Expo, the fourth international trade fair on aluminium extrusions, technologies, applications and products will cater to user industries across aviation, defence, transportation, apart from building and construction sector. Jindal Aluminium is the presenting partner of this edition.
“For companies seeking to bring knowledge and awareness of new technologies and solutions to the industry, the expo will facilitate their objective and allow for a cross section of dialogue and information sharing through the allied activities that will take place,” said Syed Ahad Ahmed, Director, Zak Group who is the organizer of this niche event. He added, “This year the highlight would be showcasing and experiencing of the latest and the most innovative technology in glass, fenestrations and aluminium extrusions.”
The exhibition will comprise demonstrations for visitors and mock up scale models to provide a feel of the next generation of realty construction and design. Additionally, seminars and workshops will be arranged for cross pollination of ideas. The highlight of the event would be the “Kaanch ki Paathshala” workshop.
The ninth edition of Zak Glass Technology Expo attracted over 220 exhibitors representing 400 Indian & international brands, and over 20,600 visitors; the eighth edition of Zak Doors & Windows Expo attracted over 100 exhibitors representing 160 Indian & international brands; the third edition of Zak Aluminium Extrusions Expo attracted over 60 exhibitors from 10 countries.
