Pioneer decorative and satinated glass processor Yorglas exhibited at Glass Build America, the largest annual gathering place for the entire glass, window and door industries in North America from September 12 to 14, 2018.

Mr. Tatli revealed that the company has a new mega factory investment in Manisa, Turkey and also a new line for jumbo sized glass production, which is going to move the company up in terms of sustainable efficiency. He said, “Our mega plant is going to meet continuously increasing demands of the global market and transform the risks into the opportunities, for our partners as well. Located on a land of 64 hectares and having an indoor area of 40,000 square metres, our new mega plant will serve for acid etched satin and decorative glass with the latest technology. With this improvement, production capacity of Yorglas will double itself and grow almost 70 percent higher than today.”.
Yorglas Satin Glass Range combines aesthetics with high quality
Yorglas supply satin glasses for stairs and balcony balustrades, kitchen doors, shower cabins or spandrel glass for privacy and an elegant look. The Satin Product Range of Yorglas is expanded in 3 groups as Yormat, Yorlux and Crystallux. They characterize according to privacy needs, light transmission, and place of application. However, they all have common points such as their consistent finish and appearance. All of Yorglas production is 100% etched, with no empty margins on the sheet, and each sheet is quality-controlled visually and technically before shipment.
The Satin Product Range of Yorglas don’t show fingerprints and have a silky touch feeling as a result of the acid etching process applied. They will not degrade nor wear, does not pickle or discolour and will not change over time. Due to the high quality and fresh glass substrate any process such as cutting, polishing, or bevelling, bending, lamination and tempering can be applied easily.
Crystallux is creating the difference in the market
After a long research and development period, Yorglas has added a new and exclusive product to its product range named Crystallux, which has a homogeneous and silky touch surface with a scratch resistance feature (Mohs hardness 5).
Due to its easy to clean nature, Crystallux is now one of the most preferred applications for countertops among marble and granite. Also, due to its high light transmittance it is also suitable for Office, bank partitions and doors. Recently in many high tech projects it has been preferred because it is non-glaring and easy to clean, making it perfect for applications such as smart boards or marker boards.
Outstanding Performance: Yorfloor brings new standards for safety
The special Yorfloor Series for flooring and glass stair projects consists of six patterns, which are tested and certified by the leading European Work Safety Institution ‘IFA’ for their anti-slip degrees. Applicable in both horizontal and vertical directions, Yorglas Yorfloor Series brings new standards for flexibility, quality and reliability.
