For the year to 31 March 2001, Yamato Glass of Japan has forecast sales revenues amounting to JPY 12.8 billion and a net profit of JPY 150 million. For the year to 31 March 2000, Yamato reported sales of JPY 12.2 billion and a net profit of JPY 189 million. Results for the half-year to 30 September 2000, showed sales revenue of JPY 6.14 billion and a net profit of JPY 29 million. This compares to figures for the same period in 1999 of JPY 5.62 billion and JPY 97 million for sales and net profit respectively.
