Vitrum 2019 is around the corner: record numbers and innovations

Vitrum 2019 promises to be a sold-out event, with even more encouraging numbers than for the previous edition

“The numbers are overwhelmingly positive,” said Vitrum President Dino Zandonella Necca; “the confirmed space for this edition is 8 percent more than in 2017 and there has been a 5 percent rise in the number of exhibitors, including 41 new companies that have never exhibited here or are returning to Vitrum after two or more years of absence. These data are a reflection of the immense effort, started with the previous edition, to construct a perfectly planned trade show experience based on the needs of industry professionals”.

An updated file is available on the Vitrum website listing the exhibitors who have confirmed their participation, each one with its own Specialized information:

The 12 Vitrum Specialized logos – quintessential innovation for Vitrum 2019 – are extremely popular with exhibitors, who have understood and embraced the strategic importance of the themed pathways in channeling visitor interest.

Expectations are also high surrounding the hosted buyers, the most numerous contingent of international Top Buyers in the show’s history, made possible through the support of the Ministry of Economic Development and ITA [Italian Trade Agency], boosting the sales opportunities for all exhibitors at the show.

The On-line Catalog of Exhibitors at Vitrum 2019 is also now available at where specific searches can be conducted based on company name and keywords. The “Save in My Notebook” function that appears in all the exhibitor profiles makes it possible for visitors to save company names of interest for easier consultation and more efficient organization of their time at the show.

“Among the many noteworthy innovations for the 2019 edition are the Start-Up Area, dedicated to technological and production innovations for the entire glass supply chain; and the Agents and Dealers Area, a space set aside for Agents, Representatives and International Manufacturers,” explained Vitrum Director Laura Biason. “The MatchMaking platform is active again this year, another means of facilitating and enhancing the opportunities for industry professionals to do business, make contacts and schedule meetings based on their categories of interest”, concluded Biason.

A series of in-depth Seminars and Workshops on key topics of general and specific interest to the world of glass further enhances the show, along with a pervasive cultural exhibit that will delight exhibitors and visitors alike with glass works by internationally famed artists.

Also on the calendar is the “What’s hot in glass processing” event, set to take place October 2nd at 2:30 pm in the brand-new Meeting Area in Pavilion 7 where companies will present their latest innovations and technologies to the Vitrum audience. Especially popular in 2017 and, given the list of 2019 participants, the event already promises to be a must-see showcase of innovations and growth opportunities.

This year Vitrum is also offering an Exhibitor Evening – an exclusive night of entertainment – and an opportunity to network and connect in a more casual setting designed for business and pleasure:
