Viracon has promoted Don McCann, CSI, to the position of director of international sales. McCann will immediately assume responsibility for international sales representatives and territories outside North and South America. In his nearly 25 years at Viracon, McCann has worked closely with architects worldwide on a wide variety of architectural glazing projects. Most recently, he served as the manager of the Architectural Design team at Viracon, working with architects to offer specification and design assistance, as well as providing practical glass solutions that meet project-specific performance and aesthetic needs. McCann is also active in the architectural glazing industry and frequently presents American Institute of Architects (AIA) registered seminars, and has spoken both in the US and around the world on a variety of architectural glass topics. He is a LEED Green Associate and has written articles for numerous industry publications. McCann holds a master“s degree in business administration and a bachelor“s degree in finance and accounting.
