The Vietnam Construction Glass and Ceramics Corp. (Viglacera) is preparing to start construction of a 500-bilion-dong float glass production facility in the southern province of Binh Duong. According to Viglacera general manager Dinh Quang Huy, planned output of the new plant is 20 million square metres a year of float glass for the construction industry. He also announced Viglacera plans to build a 122-billion-dong facility for subcontracting mirror glass. Both facilities are scheduled to go on stream during 2001.
