The Ministry of Finance has been ordered to cooperate with the Ministry of Construction and the Vietnam Glass Association to review import tariffs on construction glass by permanent deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung. This move is aimed at helping the industry overcome difficulties by limiting the import of cheap construction glass so as to. The difficulties are caused by a soaring inventory which has reached 34 million sq.m, or 42% of its annual capacity.
