Spanish container glass manufacturer Vidrala will pay a EUR 0.3604 (USD 0.512) gross interim dividend per share on its 2008 earnings from 16 February 2009, the company said on 18 December 2008. The net dividend totals EUR 0.2955 per share. Vidrala will pay the dividend through Spanish clearing and settlement agency Iberclear and commercial bank BBVA. Vidrala posted a EUR 32.7 million net profit for January to September 2008, up 20.9% year-on-year. Sales in the period rose by 14.9% to EUR 309.3 million while operating profit went up by 20.5% to EUR 50.1 million.
