29 December 1997: The Swiss glass packaging manufacturer Vetropack has announced that it is to cut 56 jobs at its plants in Buelach and St-Prex. Compulsory redundancies will affect 25 staff. Vetropack currently employs 283 people at Buelach and 190 at St-Prex.
