Vetroarredo Sediver, the Italian manufacturer of glass bricks and insulators has changed its name to Seves, it was reported on 21 September 2004. Sedes is an acronym for Sediver Vetroarredo System. The announcement was made by company president Luciano Zottola and CEO Enrico Basso. The company is aiming to increase sales by 5% year-on-year in 2004. Vetroarredo Sediver, which is based in Florence, central Italy posted turnover of EUR 195 million (USD 240.3 million) for 2003.
