As previously announced by Landglass, Luoyang, China, the Combined Force Convection Tempering Furnace supplied to Schott (Suzhou) has now been operating continuously for nearly three months. Schott has confirmed that the equipment has passed all around acceptance and its technical parameters have met or exceeded standards. The Combined Force Convection Tempering Furnace includes Landglass“ jet heating technology, 3mm tempering technology supported by Siemen“s advanced control system, and Vesuvius Smartly Driven tempering rollers. Landglass and Schott conducted tempering tests on printed panels ranging from 2.85mm to 8mm, and low-E glass. Quality indicators such as bow, waviness and granularity all met or surpassed Schott“s acceptance standards.
