In Ukraine, in the first four months of this year, the production of glass jars increased, while exports were down 33%. During the same period, production of glass botles dropped 7%, resulting in an 11% increase in exports.
For the first four months of 2012, as per a market survey carried out by the Agency of Industrial Marketing, in Ukraine, volumes of production of glass jars amounted to 89.3 thousand tons, an 18% increase compared to the same period in 2011, while exports dropped significantly (33%).
There was also a 7% decrease in the production of glass bottles during the same period, amounting to 732.2 million units, resulting in an 11% increase in exports.
