Tianma successfully incorporated Lotus NXT Glass into its 5.46-inch and 4.97-inch full high-definition products, according to a Corning news release.
Corning Incorporated and Tianma Micro-Electronics Group announced Thursday Tianma’s selection of Corning Lotus NXT Glass for its two new low-temperature polysilicon display panel models.
Tianma creates LTPS panels for use in high-resolution smartphones and tablets that feature upward of 500 pixels per inch and plans to commercialize its latest panels featuring Lotus NXT Glass by the end of the third quarter of 2015.
