Back in 2013: Thailand, Bangkok, the Asia Pacific Glass glass-maker confirmed its entry on the dynamic Thai hollow-glass market with a project to build a new factory with an initial 310 TPD furnace with three dedicated production lines to source Carabao, Thailand’s energy drink leader.
TIAMA was selected to perform the Cold End Inspection with its best-selling MCAL4, MULTI4 and MX4. In the summer of 2016, after almost 3 years of close collaboration with Tiama offering its glass quality control know-how to this young but ambitious player, not only are the machines performing excellent inspections, in line with TIAMA’s latest developments, but all production lines are running with consistent, repeatable and reliable quality control levels maintained by strict operational protocols maintained by APG staff themselves. TIAMA’s tailored inspection & service has played a key role in ensuring that APG’s Cold End area now vies with the most prestigious glass plants worldwide.
The success of the new factory led to the decision to install a second furnace for 2017. It was logical for APG to call on Tiama’s expertise once again for this addition. The company had been supportive and involved since the very beginning and a genuine relationship had developed.
