Thermoseal Group employs Materials Specialist

Materials Specialist Rohit Kale will be working with Thermoseal Group in conjunction with a UK university to develop the Group’s thermally efficient product range.

Gwain Paterson, Managing Director at Thermoseal Group comments: “We took the big step from distributor to manufacturer to drive Thermobar warm edge spacer tube and other new energy efficient components to market. As part of our commitment to this process, we have invested in a new Innovation Centre which is now equipped for product development and testing. I see our research and development facility as an area to continually evolve and have already ploughed a great deal of business funds into this project. Rohit’s role as Materials Specialist is essential to this evolving facility. He is working with us as part of a Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with a UK University to help by utilizing the University Knowledge-base and aid us to develop our manufacturing offering. He has been a great addition to the team and is currently working on pioneering new products to enable our customers to produce sealed units that exceed the future demands of the UK and European Building Regulation requirements.”
Rohit adds: “As a KTP associate, I will work with Thermoseal Group to help improve their competitiveness and productivity through better use of knowledge, technology and skills that reside within the UK knowledge-base. With my extensive understanding of the materials Thermoseal Group is to use in manufacture, I am enthusiastic about meeting business goals which will result in top quality products.
