A new video from Stölzle shows how automation improves an important step of their production line.
It takes a few basic steps to produce high-end packaging glass: first the bottles are blown into shape on fully automated IS machines.
Then they pass through an annealing lehr to be cooled down slowly in order to avoid and eliminate tensions in the glass.
Finally, the bottles run through the Cold End section, where several sophisticated control machines inspect 100 percent of all bottles. Eventual defects or impurities are detected and bottles are sorted out immediately.
Last step is the packaging of all items, which – as you can see in the video – is done by a fully automated palletizer. Goods are then stored and ready for delivery to our international customers.
