Ukrainian bank Kredytprombank has opened a USD 890,000 credit line for Kiev-based toughened glass manufacturer Snok Ltd., the bank said in a statement. The loan is being provided for 5 years at an annual rate of LIBOR +6%. Snok Ltd. intends to use the credit line to launch production of shaped hardened glass, and also to boost its capacity to produce triplex glass and insulating glass units incorporating safety glass. The company specializes in the production of triplex, impact-resistant and bulletproof glass. Aval Bank, which is one of the ten largest Ukrainian banks, extended a USD 866,800 loan to Snok within the framework of a direct line of credit from the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
