Slovak glass and jewellery producers have reported pre-tax profits of Kc 686.72 million for the first nine months of 2000, double the figure for the same period in 1999. The profit accounts for 2.2% of total industrial gross profit in Slovakia. Glass and jewellery producers“ revenues totalled Kc 6.664 billion, up 23.8% on revenues in the first nine months of 1999.
