Turkish glass manufacturer, Sisecam, has announced that it plans to open four new plants in Bulgaria by 2012. The new plants, which will create 200 new jobs, will be located in Turgovishte, which already houses the main Sisecam plant in the country, and are set to produce automotive glasses and coated glass for construction projects. At the same time, the company also said that its flat glass manufacturing plants would go for a capacity build-up. Sisecam, one of the biggest green-field investors in Bulgaria, has an investment worth over USD 300 million. A total of 1,100 workers are employed at the company“s four established plants in Turgovishte.
