As of 1 October 2009, Schott Solar AG has extended guarantee conditions for its photovoltaic (PV) modules, offering a 25-year performance guarantee on glass-foil modules and a 30-year guarantee on double glass modules. The German solar cell manufacturer has also introduced continuous plus tolerance, in which all modules belonging to a performance class will generate at least the nominal power listed, which apply for products that have left the warehouse since 24 August 2009.
