CORE BUSINESS
The core business of the company is represented by straight- and double-grinding machines for pencil- and flat-edge production. In the last years, these machines have been updated and have become more user friendly and high-performance. Thanks to the new PLC, with a greater and more modern look from a graphical point of view, data transmission, storage of polishing wheel positions and more precision in the calculation of polishing wheel rising according to thickness, speed and inclination for the mitring models are granted. In addition, the glass removal step can be performed in automatic by means of the same new PLC.
Schiatti Angelo’s product range also includes straight bevelling machines, drilling machines with opposing heads, multi-heads drilling machines, vertical drilling/milling machines and corner machine.

AUTOMATION – INDUSTRY 4.0 AND IOT
In this age of ‘digital manufacturing’, Schiatti Angelo is also focusing on Industry 4.0 solutions: the latest technologies based on the Internet of Things (IoT). Automation and the way that smart data are managed by IoT are two of the main factors that help to define an enterprise’s efficiency and competitiveness.

Schiatti’s automated solutions can be both vertical and horizontal. Fully automatic complete lines for loading, processing on all four sides of the glass, and unloading can be supplied.
