In a US$ 2 million investment, a Saudi Arabian company, Saudi Marble Company Uganda Limited, is setting up a glass recycling plant in Kampala, Uganda. The glass will be melted then processed into new glass for industrial and domestic use. Mr. Yousaf Khan, operations manager of Saudi Marble, said the company would sell the glass at a cheaper price compared to current levels.
