25 June 1998: For the year to 31 March 1999, the Japanese glass tableware maker Sasaki Glass is forecasting group sales of 15.8 billion yen for a net profit of 110 million yen. Results for the year to 31 March 1998, Sasaki reported sales totalling 15.07 billion yen (down from a year-earlier figure of 16.83 billion yen) and a net loss of 997 million (compared with a previous loss of 175 million).
