Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics America has purchased the assets and technology of Gividi USA of Ridgeway, South Carolina. Gividi produces fine glass yarn fabrics for use in a wide range of industrial and composite applications. The company“s state-of-the-art production plant is ideally situated in South Carolina, the centre of the US textile industry. The Gividi production plant will now be the main North American manufacturing centre for Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics“ new Tevere brand of glass fiber textile cloth, which is available in over 40 common glass fabric sizes and in five product groups. The new line is intended to support the expanded role of Saint-Gobain Technical Fabrics in the industrial coated-fabrics market.
