The Agropromenergo company in Stavropol, Russia has signed an investment agreement with the French Starburst Sales and Distribution group to build a glass goods factory. Before the end of 2003, the French firm aims to attract USD 280 million in investment. The funds will be used to build an ore-dressing factory at the Blagodarnensky quartz sand deposit and two other plants to produce glass containers and sheet glass, respectively.
