Construction work on the first regional container glass plant at Orsk, south east European Russia, is expected to begin in 2004. During the visit by a delegation from Chekhia to the city, a joint project-contract was considered with representatives of Orsk Mining Metallurgical Company. According to company officials, the financing of the plant is under development.
