Rogaska Glassworks, the Slovenia producer of glass and crystal ware, has re-launched the first polishing line after the company“s polishing plant was destroyed by fire. The line is to be extended in the near future. The reconstructed polishing line at Rogaska Slatina, eastern Slovenia, and replacement facilities at Kozje and in Croatia currently suffice to polish about 50% of the glassware manufactured by Rogaska. The company has started repairing a machine damaged by the fire, while the third one will be replaced by a new machine at the end of February. The fire destroyed one of three polishing machines, and badly damaged the other two.
