RIOU Glass has decided to acquire Vidresif, a Spanish glazing manufacturer, as part of its development strategy. For RIOU Glass this is the first complete acquisition outside France
In the last 18 months RIOU Glass has acquired a stake in the Italian glassmaker Cappelletti & Roleri and in the Belgian group Euroglas and all the shares of the Loire-based company Diffuver.
Established in 1979 by Pierre and Christiane Riou, RIOU Glass is an independent French family group which employs almost a thousand employees across 16 processing sites in France, as well as a float glass plant, Eurofloat in Salaise-sur-Sanne.
