29 July 1999: The shares of Italian porcelain manufacturer Richard Ginori have rallied 14.76% to close at Euros 1.175, with a total of 2.93 million shares changing hands, compared to 89,000 in the past 30 sessions. The Ginori share rise was prompted by rumours of an imminent partnership deal with one of the largest international groups in the luxury goods sector. Richard Ginori has refused to comment on these market rumours.
