R.C.N. Solutions: REVA BF – an outstanding laminating interlayer

REVA BF is suitable to be combined with other materials, and also with some polycarbonates for bullet-proof glass

EVA, Ethylene Vynyl Acetate, has been in the glass industry for many years and has had a great deal of success. While PVB, Polyvinyl Butiral, is still specified in some laminated projects, EVA is more often accepted as an important and high performance interlayer, especially suitable for external applications exposed to weather conditions.

RCN Solutions‘ REVA BF is a first-rate product, resulting from years of experiments and research to release a reliable product for excellent finished results and long-term durability.

The choice of using fresh raw materials for every batch, supplied by selected international manufacturers, are crucial to assure top quality and consistency. The chemical formula has been designed in cooperation with European laboratories and universities.

High adhesion – 12N/mm – and high transparency – > 91 percent – are two of the most important features of REVA BF. Easy to use and process, it cannot be overheat and remains brilliant after application.

The cross-linking method is important compared to other thermo-set products because it improves laminates strength by relieving mechanical relaxation, thus retarding the interlayer slippage.

REVA BF is suitable to be combined with other materials, such as with some polycarbonates for bullet-proof glass.

Service for each client is an integral contribution to the quality of the product. RCN, together with its distributors, are committed to offer professional and technical assistance to all their customers.

REVA BF is certified according to the AINSI standard and has been specified in the SGCC list. At the beginning of this year, new European certifications have been issued by the Rosenheim Institute.
