PV CYCLE is pleased to announce that in the month of July 4 other Members joined the association: o Auversun SAS, based in Clermont Ferrand, is a French manufacturer of photovoltaic modules. The company is on a production site of 8,000 sq.m. using an efficient production line and modern, incorporating quality checks throughout the process. o JS Solar (China) Jiangsu Jiasheng Photovoltaic Technology Co., Ltd. was founded in 2004 and covers an area of 70 acres. JS Solar produces mono and poly solar panels ranging from 5w-300W and estimates 2010 capacity of 300MW. o General Solar Power Yantai is the base for China“s first amorphous silicon production line. As of March, 2010, the Yantai Fab has completed a 20,000 sq.m. clean room with total production capacity of 25 MW, and Fab yield of 97%. General Solar Power has recently passed TUV Intercert and is in compliance with IEC 61646 requirements. Its product range includes: glass/backsheet modules with frame, glass/glass frameless, glass/glass transparent, and double junction glass/glass modules. The company has plans to expand to over 75 MW production capacity by the end of 2010. o Mitsubishi Electric Europe BV (Germany) Mitsubishi Electric is a global leader in the research, manufacturing and marketing of electrical and electronic equipment used in communications, consumer electronics, industrial technology, energy and transportation. Mitsubishi Electric“s operations in Europe began more than 30 years ago. Since then, the company has grown and expanded its network and service area to cover much of the region. In 1996 Mitsubishi Electric Europe B.V. was formed as a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Electric Corporation (Japan), and acquired Mitsubishi Electric“s European sales and marketing businesses from other Mitsubishi Electric group companies.
