The opening of a new Sales and Service Center in Brazil is part of the company strategy to provide service worldwide and to introduce the Proliner® to South America.
The Proliner is a 2D and 3D portable measurement solution; a fast and easy way to obtain accurate dimensions on site, as well as digitizing existing shapes and objects.
Prodim has already proven its products in the glass industry in South America. The first customers in this area use the Proliner in their production of glass objects. The Proliner can be used in flat glass such as balustrades, windows and backsplashes. With the additional software it is also possible to measure curved glass such as automotive windshields.
The Proliner principle is very simple: measuring with a wire. The Proliner has a measuring head that can be rotated in every direction and has a wire that can be stretched out for several meters. Proliner can measure straight, curved and very complex shapes in an instant.
Measuring with the Proliner is very easy; position the device at a central place and measure a few points per object with the measuring pen. Complete measurements can be carried out in a short time and after the measurement a DXF file is immediately available. The measurements can be checked and edit on site with the available CAD functions on the Proliner. The digital drawing can be used to create measurement reports but also to generate order forms for the CNC machine.
